Have you seen this new nice little designed plates before? Aren’t they cute? This is a creation by the French graphic designer and art director Pauline Kerleroux, alias Polinko.

She was born and raised in Quimper (Brittany, France), where there is a long-term tradition for hand painted porcelain. In deed people in this region like to hang the porcelain plates and dishes on the walls as a decoration.
The project of the “Service de famille” was born at the end of her 6 years in Prague where she involved in many local projects such as the French Film festival, just before she moved to London. She continued her studies in Prague and then worked with Alan Zàruba in Prague. The project of Service de Famille” came true thanks to the Hidden Factory which is an exclusive ceramic production company.

She has thought about a set made of 6 original porcelain plates, on each of which is draw a family member – but without the hair! Everyone can play to decorate the character with the food. Each set contains:
_2 large plates (the mother and the father)
_2 soup plates (the grand mother and grand father)
_2 small plates (the daughter and the son)
These lovely items are all made of white porcelain, are stain resistant and safe for microwave and dishwater.

So are you ready for green French beans hair straightening, a rocket perm, strawberry earrings or gherkins eyebrows?

What do you think about this set for Father's Day?
